How E-prescription Works
- The patient will book an appointment using Microsoft bookings, selecting the time, day, and doctor.
- The doctor checks the “E-Prescriptions Doctor app”, where all the appointments for the day are.
- Doctor and patient can have the meeting via Microsoft teams.
- Using the “E-Prescriptions Doctor app”, the doctor will write the prescription to the patient and send it using the app.
- The patient will receive the prescription in the mailbox.
Firstly, E-Prescriptions app uses Power Platform and the Bookings app, for the patients to book an appointment with the doctor at a desired date and time. Secondly, the doctor’s team acknowledges the appointment, conducts the consultation, and generates an e-Prescription. As a result, the patient receives the email during the booking of the appointment.
